What Is In Your Kids' Closet?? Are their closets overstuffed? Are there items they have not worn that are hanging in your closet waiting to be used? You have come to the right place. Here is your opportunity to clean out their closet, MAKE $$$ and fill their closets with "new to you" merchandise.
Rags To Riches Kids! specializes in items sold at leading stores, such as Nordstroms, Macy's, Gap and Old Navy and boutiques. Check out some of the designers we carry.
Merchandise must be:
* New or gently worn designer brands – with label attached
* Current styles
* Clean, fresh and pressed (we recommend dry cleaning prior to shipment)
* In immaculate condition (NO RIPS, TEARS OR STAINS)
* 100% AUTHENTIC AND GENUINE
Please note, our clientele has very high expectations and shopping preferences. Our teams of fashionistas have been trained to recognize the needs of our shoppers and can usually inform you via e-mail if we can or cannot accept certain items. Please understand we may not be able to accept all pieces you may want to consign with us. Should you be interested in consigning with us, please fill out and submit the CONSIGNOR'S INQUIRY FORM. Rags To Riches Kids! splits proceeds 60-40, should your item sell during the 60 day duration in our boutique. After 60 days, your items will be marked down by 30% and kept in the boutique for another 30 days (for a total of 90 days in the consignment period).
In the event that your item does not sell you will be offered two options:
1. Forfeit unsold items (where they become sole property of Rags To Riches Kids!) for placement in the CLEARANCE CLOSET! Charity for Rho section, where they will be marked down ½ price. Half of those proceeds shall be donated to The Michael J. Fox Foundation to support Parkinson's Disease research.
2. Request unsold items to be returned (at consignor's expense).
Once your inquiry is received, a representative from Rags To Riches Kids! will contact you regarding where to send approved merchandise - we accept shipments via UPS, USPS, and Fed Ex.
All consignors must sign a Rags To Riches Kids! contract before any items can be placed in the web boutique.
Once items are received, the Company will host them online for 90 days. Upon receipt and inventory, you will receive an itemized list of accepted items and asking price. Items will generally appear on the site within one week of their arrival to the Company's warehouse facility.
Payout checks are issued on or around the 15th of each month and will be sent to the address you specify in your contract. You will only receive financial related paperwork from us if you have items that sold during that time period. Should you have any questions about your account, please feel free to CONTACT US.
Policies
SHIPMENTS:
All orders are shipped via USPS 5-10 business days after the date they are received*. A USPS tracking number will be emailed to you separately, once your package has been prepared for sendout. Buyer agrees to pay a flat shipping and handling fee upon checkout. Residents of California and all applicable states will be charged sales tax. Please note - should there be any changes to this policy, due to unforeseen situations or circumstances, we will post notice to the website. At this time, Rags To Riches Kids! ships only to the 50 states within the US and to Canada.
*Please note items ship from the West Coast and could take up to 5 business days to reach the East Coast.
PAYMENTS:
We accept payment thru credit card - VISA, MASTERCARD & AMERICAN EXPRESS through PayPal. We do not accept money orders, personal checks or certified checks at this time, nor do we accept "phone in" credit card charges.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL!
Due to the nature of the merchandise, Rags To Riches Kids! does not offer a return or refund policy at this time. Please be careful to read all measurements carefully and thoroughly prior to purchase. Keep in mind that cuts and "number" sizes differ greatly from country of origin and from designer-to-designer. Our team of fashionistas has diligently worked to detail each item to the best of their ability to help guide you toward the best fit. Please also note that items represented on this site are pre-owned and may have been altered in the past. It is essential that you follow the measurements to ensure the proper fit to your body.
